Rental finance example

Based on Company X’s requirements, Avision advised that the best solution for their business would be to install seven Avision Netdeliver @V5100 network scanners at their head office.

Company X wanted to avoid a capital outlay and also wanted to avoid the risk of product obsolescence. Their business was growing fast, and within three years they suspected their IT requirements would have changed significantly.

Highland Rental Finance structured a rental finance agreement over 3 years under which Company X paid a monthly fee of around R12,500. The agreement also made provision for product upgrades and a replacement cycle. This was much more affordable for them than an initial capital outlay of over R300,000 on equipment that would become obsolete.
